The Process
Week 1: Compare and Contrast Essay
Where are you from? How tall are you? What's your social security number? -For this first week each team member needs to create a Celly. Through your Celly find three similarities and three differences amongst yourselves; I have access to monitor each message, be warned. After you all find the topics you each want to do for the compare and contrast essay, screenshot each others conversations and post it in a Microsoft word document with your 1000 word essay. There should be two submissions per group member, considering there are 3 people per group. -The button to your left will get you started in creating your Celly. I recommend you join the classroom Celly @behindthepencil. I will be answering questions and sending out reminders and due dates for assignments. Any changes that are done in the calendar will also be posted up. This is due at the end of the first week; DON'T PROCRASTINATE!

Week 3: Narrative Essay
"The purpose of narrative is to present us with complexity and ambiguity." -Scott Turow -For the last week, as a group, create a story filled with creativity and imagination. Write like you've never wrote before; use what you have learned in the previous week assignment. When writing this narrative be specific on your setting, plot, climax, introduction and conclusion; for you are going to write three essays from three of the main characters perspective pertaining these same things. Be descriptive, I want to be a bystander in your story; I want to experience the characters attitudes and feelings. When you are finished, submit this part of the assignment on a Microsoft word document individually. -After submitting the three essays, you must make a Prezi on each of the characters within your story. Bring forth the setting, the plot, the climax, introduction and conclusion. The button to your left will bring you to Prezi.com so you can sign up. These assignments are due at the end of the third week; DON'T PROCRASTINATE!
